Hurricane Falls to Tulane, 3-0

New Orleans, La. - Senior Fabiola Nepomuceno led The University of Tulsa volleyball team with 11 kills to mark her 12th consecutive match with double-digit kills. However, it was not enough as Tulane posted its fourth Conference USA victory of the season with a 3-0 (30-19, 30-19, 30-24) victory over the Golden Hurricane in Foglemen Arena in New Orleans.
Fellow senior Julia Silva led the Hurricane with 28 assists, with only one dig. It was only the third time this season the setter did not register a double-double. Sophomore Malorey Grove posted a team-high 14 digs.
The Hurricane continue on its road trip with a 2 p.m. match on Sunday afternoon in El Paso, Texas, facing the Miners of UTEP.
