Tulsa Volleyball Records Seventh Consecutive Win

Monroe, La. - The University of Tulsa volleyball squad won its seventh consecutive match with a 3-0 (30-15, 30-13, 30-21) victory over Louisiana-Monroe at the LadyJack Invitational. The sweep also gave TU 21 consecutive game wins, breaking last season's school record mark of 20.
Senior Fabiola Nepomuceno led a trio of Hurricane hitters to record double-figures in kills, with 15 on the match. Fellow senior Julia Silva and freshman Emma Ridley each posted 10 kills as well for TU. Silva's 27 assists also gave her seven double-doubles on the season. Junior Malorey Grove led the Hurricane with 12 digs.
The Hurricane will play Northwestern State at 10 a.m., on Saturday before concluding the tournament with host Stephen F. Austin at 7 p.m.
