Tulsa Finished at North Texas Classic

Denton, Texas - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team finished with a pair of losses on the final day of play at the North Texas Classic on Saturday in Denton, Texas. The Hurricane tallied a total of three singles victories over the two-day round robin tournament.
Ewa Szatkowska lost to Narine Kazarova of North Texas, 6-2, 6-1, in Tulsa's only singles match of the day.
Szatkowska teamed up Caroline Beaulieu for TU's lone doubles match, but lost to North Texas' duo of Amy Joubert and Rachel Wilhelm, 8-2.
The tournament also marks the end of the fall season for the Hurricane who will take the next two months off before hitting the court again on Jan. 18 for a double-header against UALR and Oral Roberts at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
