Tulsa Rowers to Compete at Midwest Intercollegiate Rowing Championships

TU won the MIRC team championship last year, and will look to defend the title on Saturday.

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's rowing team will take to the water again this Saturday, April 26th at the Midwest Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships (MIRC) in Omaha, Nebraska. The Golden Hurricane is slated to race in the Varsity 2-, Novice 4+, Lightweight 4+, Varsity 4+, Varsity 8+ and 2nd Varsity 8+.

"We are coming off a great weekend at the SIRA's," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "This weekend we are going to put our best foot forward and we are looking to win a team championship."

TU won the MIRC team championship last year, and will look to defend the title on Saturday.
