Tulsa Head Coach Doug Wojcik:
Opening statement...
"That was a hard-fought, well-earned win by our guys tonight after having a week off. I have to give ECU credit because they shot the three very well, and we knew that defending the three-point line was going to be the most important part of the game. The three that they hit at the end of the first half allowed them to run into the locker room and be fired up, but our guys really came out in the second half with great focus and played really good defense, which allowed them to take command of the game. It was an outstanding effort by our team tonight."
On Justin Hurtt's play...
"They were playing us match-up and then they went to the zone on defense, so I didn't want our guys hesitant. So when I put him back in there after picking up his second foul, along with Steven Idlet and Joe Richard, I thought they gave us a huge lift. We could have been down 15 points, and Justin Hurtt's three-pointers gave us some easy baskets. We received contributions from a lot of guys but Justin has been doing that quite awhile now."
On the effects of having a week off...
"I prepared myself for the start of the game. It is a week off, and I think we came out of it pretty well. I thought it was a good time for Ben Uzoh to have a break. I think it is going to work out really well for us, because now we are in the final three weeks of the season. We have a lot to play for and it is kind of exciting for us."

On breaking the two-game losing streak...
"It feels real good, we had a tough week last week. I think having the week off after two losses served us well, we had time to sit back and reflect and get away from things and regain the right mindset."
On the slow first-half start...
"I say the sluggish first half was a result of not having played in a week. We shook off the rust in the first eight or 10 minutes of the second half where we did a good job on both ends of the floor. We did an especially good job on the defensive end by guarding the three-point line, and then getting out on offense and getting easy baskets."
