Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's rowing team will conclude the fall season this weekend, Nov. 6-7, at the 30th Annual Head of the Hooch on the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, Tenn.

On Saturday, TU will compete in the Championship 2x, Novice 4+, Lightweight 4+, Championship 4+, Novice 8+ and Championship 8+, and on Sunday will race the Lightweight 1x, Open 2- and Open 8+.

The Golden Hurricane will take on crews, such as Clemson, Texas, Kansas, Alabama, Tennessee, UCF, Oklahoma and many others.

"We are really excited about this race," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "This is our finishing race of the season so we are really challenging the lineups and seeing who helps make us faster. It is a good chance for the women to see how fast we've gotten since racing last spring, because it should be a very fast race this year."
