Philadelphia, Pa. - Taleya Mayberry had a team-leading 12 points and four steals, but it wasn't enough as Tulsa dropped a 64-47 decision to Drexel on Thursday night at the Daskalakis Center in Philadelphia, Pa. TU fell to 2-3 on the season, while Drexel moved to 5-0 overall.

Kara Vaughan added nine points and pulled down a team-best nine rebounds, while Tatum Beer posted eight points, and Denise Lewis and Amanda Mason each recorded six points off the bench.

The Golden Hurricane shot 30-percent from the field, but struggled from three-point range, shooting just nine-percent. TU also shot 57-percent from the charity stripe.

Drexel inched ahead of Tulsa in the first 14 minutes of the game and then outscored TU, 15-3 in the final six minutes to take a 34-14 lead into the break.

The Golden Hurricane came out in the second half and went on a 26-13 run to cut the lead to seven (47-40), but DU fought back and closed out the contest with a 17-7 run for the 17-point victory.

The Dragons were led by Kamile Nacickaite with 20 points, while Tyler Hale scored 18 points and Taylor Wootton had 13. Hollie Mershon pulled down eight rebounds.

Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, Dec. 5th against La Salle. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. Eastern at the Tom Gola Arena in Philadelphia, Pa.
