No. 34 Tulsa Women's Tennis Tops Kansas, 6-1

TULSA, Okla. - The 34th-ranked Tulsa women's tennis team snapped a four-match losing streak with a 6-1 win over Kansas on Sunday afternoon at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa (7-4) grabbed the doubles point with wins in all three flights. Michelle Farley and Rebecca Row topped Alessandra Dzuba and Maria Martinez, 8-4, in the No. 3 position, followed by 38th-ranked JoAnne Karaitiana and Alexandra Kichoutkin defeating Sara Lazarevic and Erin Wilbert, 8-6, in the top position.
Anastasia Erofeeva and Ewa Szatkowska clipped Ekaterina Morozova and Victoria Khanevskaya, 8-5, in the No. 2 slot to round out the doubles sweep.
Michelle Farley extended the lead to 2-0 with a quick 6-0, 6-2 win over Victoria Khanevskaya in No. 6 singles, and Anastasia Erofeeva followed with a dominating 6-1, 6-0 victory against Sara Lazarevic in the No. 2 position to give the Hurricane a 3-0 advantage.
Alexandra Kichoutkin clinched the TU victory with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Ekaterina Morozova in the top flight.
JoAnne Karaitiana earned a 6-4, 6-2 win against Kunigunda Dorn in the No. 3 slot, followed by Rebecca Row defeating Erin Wilbert, 4-6, 6-0, 6-2, in No. 5 singles.
The Hurricane returns to action next weekend when they face Colorado State on Saturday, Feb. 27, and Nebraska on Sunday, Feb. 28, in Lincoln, Neb.
