Tulsa's Lightweight 4+ to Race at IRA Championship

TU will take on Stanford, MIT, and last year national champion Loyola-Maryland in the Heat tomorrow.

The University of Tulsa's Lightweight 4+ will compete this Friday and Saturday, June 3-4, at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Lightweight National Championship in Camden, N.J.

"We are all very excited about competing tomorrow," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "It has been fun watching them prepare for the IRA. This is our fourth time at the IRA so we are taking it in stride. We are looking forward to racing our best tomorrow and making the Tulsa fans proud."

The Golden Hurricane Lightweight 4+ features coxswain Abigail Gorman, and rowers Puja Sztorc, Heather Brooks, Molly Selig and Carla Horne. TU will take on Stanford, MIT, and last year national champion Loyola-Maryland in the Heat tomorrow.
