TULSA HEAD COACH Danny Manning
Opening Statement "Stephen F. Austin came out tonight, punched us in our face, and we didn't respond very well. They out rebounded us. They beat us to a lot of 50-50 balls. We didn't share the ball well, and gave up too many second chance opportunities. We had some opportunities to cut into the lead and we didn't make plays when we needed to. That's something we have to work on and get better at. We will, but I thought we could have played a better ball game, especially on defense. We let them shoot almost 50% in our own building. We can't let that happen."
On whether there is anything positive to take away from this game "There's no silver lining in a loss. There are no moral victories. We have to get better. We have to get back to playing the way we played early in the season, which is together while moving the ball. We had no fast break points. That's not who we are. We're supposed to defend, give up one contested shot, and get out in transition. That's not how we played tonight."
