Bohannon Earns American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week

Nov. 17, 2014PROVIDENCE, R.I. - University of Tulsa sophomore outside hitter Erica Bohannon was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced Monday by the conference office.
Bohannon's 4.50 kills a set helped lead the Golden Hurricane to a perfect 2-0 weekend, beating The American's first place team UCF, 3-2, before handily beating USF, 3-0, on the road last weekend.
Against the UCF Knights, Bohannon recorded a career-high 26 kills, while finishing with a hitting percentage of .351, in TU's come-from-behind victory. Against USF, Bohannon added another 10 kills to help lead Tulsa to the weekend sweep.
Bohannon is currently averaging 4.00 kills per set, which is second amongst all players in the American Athletic Conference.
