Women's Tennis Perfect Against Oral Roberts

TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team went a perfect 7-0 against cross-town rival Oral Roberts, Saturday morning at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The Hurricane earns its first duel victory of the season with its sweep over ORU.
The Hurricane got off to a fast after sweeping ORU handily in doubles play to pick up the early point.
Saana Saateinen and Renata Kuricova handled the No. 1 position after beating Marzianne Bouwer and Petya Simeonova, 6-1.
In the No. 2 matchup, Marcelina Cichon and Mahita Dadireddy topped Andrada Gordan and Nika Munoz, 6-2, while Yelena Nemchen and Ksenia Laskutova cruised past Ximena Puentes and Brenda Mercado Jove, 6-2.
In the singles matches, Saateinen took care of business quickly, sweeping Nika Munoz, 6-0, 6-0, from the No. 6 position.
Tulsa's Nemchen followed suit by beating Simeonova, 6-0, 6-1, from the No. 3 position, while Laskutova controlled her match against Bouwer, 6-1, 6-1.
No. 70 Marcelina Cichon had the closest match of the afternoon, but still won comfortably, 6-3, 6-1, for the No. 4 postion. In the No. 1 singles matchup, Dobby Leenabanchong dominated her match, 6-1, 6-1, while Renata Kuricova won handily in the No. 5 spot, 6-0, 6-1.
