Women's Tennis Set for ITA Kick-Off

The University of Tulsa women’s tennis team is set for the 2015 ITA Kick-Off Weekend, as the Hurricane will look to take over Ann Arbor, as the University of Michigan hosts the four-team bracket in the two-day event, from Jan. 24-25. T
he No. 26 Hurricane is the number two seed in the group, with No. 16 Michigan holding the top spot. No. 42 Utah and No. 48 Yale round out the group with the three and four seed, respectively.
TU will open up its weekend against Utah, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. If the Hurricane win, they will play at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday against the winner of Michigan/Yale match in the championship match. If the result goes the other way for the Golden Hurricane, Tulsa will take on the loser of the other match at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday in the consolation match.
The Golden Hurricane is off to a perfect start, after going 4-0 last weekend to start the season. More impressively, the Hurricane swept all four of its opponents, 7-0, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
