TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa Head Volleyball Coach Ryan Wills and his coaching staff have announced the signings of Trinity Alualu, Rebecca Reeve and Alyssa LaMont, three junior college transfers from Blinn College out of Brenham, Texas.

All three incoming juniors have had a plethora of success coming into Tulsa, having won both the 2013 and 2014 NJCAA Division I National Championships, and a combined 80-4 record in their two seasons at Blinn.

"We are excited to add these three to our 2015 recruiting class," said Head Volleyball Coach Ryan Wills. "These three athletes are not only great people and volleyball players, they are winners. They don't just expect to win matches they expect to win championships. Erin Mellinger at Blinn College has done a great job of preparing these girls for the next level."

Trinity Alualu
Alualu, a 5'11" outside hitter from Honolulu, Hawaii, was named to the 2014 NJCAA All-American Second Team and was a member of the 2013 NJCAA All-Tournament Team. Last season, Alualu was second on the team with 315 kills (2.76 kills per set). She was also second on the team in service aces, with 51 (0.45 aces per set) and second on the squad with 294 digs (2.58 digs per set).

"Being from Hawaii, Trinity will bring some of that Polynesian culture to our team," said Wills. "I am excited for her to be in the gym on a daily basis. She loves her teammates and loves to compete."

Alyssa Lamont
A libero from Houston, Texas, Lamont was named to the 2014 NJCAA All-Tournament team, after averaging 10.5 digs a match in the tournament, including a 16-dig performance in the national championship match. Last season, Lamont led Blinn with 410 digs (3.53 digs per set).

"Alyssa adds a fire and competitiveness to the backcourt that is contagious," said Wills. "She expects to win. Her defense and ball control will be a great asset for us over the next two years."

Rebecca Reeve
A 6'0" right side hitter from Adelaide, Australia, Reeve was a 2014 NJCAA Division I First-Team All-American, and the 2014 NJCAA Tournament MVP, in her sophomore season. Reeve finished last season with a team-high 375 kills (2.76 kills per set), and points, 436.0. She also recorded 54 block assists in 2014. In last season's championship run, Reeve averaged 13 kills a match in the tournament, including a 25-kill performance in the championship match.

"Rebecca is a highly skilled all-around volleyball player," said Wills. "At the biggest moments she plays her best. In addition to her volleyball, she will bring some cultural diversity to the team being from Australia."
