Tulsa Women Golfers Place 12th at The Schooner Fall Classic

The Tulsa women's golf team shot finished the rain-shortened Schooner Fall Classic in 12th place with a 36-hole total of 612. On Monday, the Hurricane shot 10 strokes better in the second round than first round play with a score of 301.
Oklahoma State won the tournament with a 14-under par score of 554 at the par 71 Belmar Golf Course.
Tulsa senior Alex Haun had Tulsa's best round on Monday with a one-over par 72 to finish the even with a team-best 44th place total of 151. Junior Nadia Majidizadeh finished in 47th place with a score of 152 after carding a final round score of 77.
As trio of newcomers – Brydie Hodge, Mackenzie Medders and Johanna Samuelsson – placed 51st, 53rd and 56th, respectively. Hodge shot a final round 75 for a 154 total, while Medders and Samuelsson each scored a final round 77. Medders finished in 53rd place and Samuelsson 56th overall.
Tulsa will play next at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, October 9-11, in Denver, Colorado.
