Tulsa’s No. 29 Men’s Tennis Team to Take on Three Nationally Ranked Opponents This Week

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa's No. 29 men's tennis team takes on three opponents nationally ranked in the top-50 this week. The Golden Hurricane returns to the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Tuesday, March 22, to take on No. 35 Dartmouth at 1:00 p.m. TU travels to Waco, Texas, on Thursday, March 24, to face No. 21 Baylor, before traveling to Austin, Texas, on Saturday, March 26, to challenge No. 18 Texas.
 
TU's junior Or Ram-Harel enters Tuesday's match nationally ranked No. 39 in singles play, while seniors Matthew Kirby and Dylan McCloskey enter the Dartmouth match ranked No. 79 in doubles play.
 
In Tuesday's match, Tulsa will face a Dartmouth team that has an overall 11-6 record. Dartmouth has one athlete ranked in singles play, and one doubles team that is ranked.
 
On Thursday, TU will take on a Baylor team that has recorded an overall record of 11-7 this season. Baylor has two athletes that are notionally ranked in singles play, and one doubles team that is ranked in the top-25.  
 
This Saturday, Tulsa will challenge a Texas team that has compiled an overall 11-5 record this season. The Longhorns have two athletes that are nationally ranked in singles play, and two doubles teams that are ranked.
 
The match against Dartmouth marks the fourth match of an eleven-match stretch where Tulsa will face only nationally ranked opponents. In the month of March, the Hurricane will face six nationally ranked opponents, and five of them are currently ranked in the top-25.
