Tulsa Advances Lightweight 2x and Lightweight 4+ to Grand Finals at IRA National Championships

Both the Lightweight 2x and Lightweight 4+ posted marks to advance to the Grand Finals at the IRA National Championships on Lake Mercer in Princeton, N.J. on Saturday.  The finals will take place on Sunday morning.
 
Audrey Brown and Lindsay Crute raced their Lightweight 2x to a second-place time of 8:07.14 in Heat 1, which allowed them to advance straight to the Grand Final tomorrow.  Wisconsin topped their time in the race with a time of 7:56.55, but TU finished ahead of Princeton (8:24.15) and Oklahoma (8:59.06).
 
In the Lightweight 4+, Sam Barber, Emalia Seto, Julia Herrel, Annie Martin and Madeline Oleksiak finished fourth in Heat 2 in a time of 7:47.15, before capturing a second-place time of 7:34.57 in the Repechage to earn the final spot in the Grand Final.
