TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Men's Tennis team fell to No. 7-ranked TCU 4-0 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon. Tulsa moved to 4-2 on the season with both losses coming to top-20 ranked opponents.

The Hurricane could not come up with the doubles point for the first time in six matches this season as TCU took a 1-0 lead. Dominic Bechard/Okkie Kellerman found themselves in a battle with Reese Stadler/Jerry Lopez as both teams were tied up at 3-3 after a Tulsa rally in the match before TCU came away with a 6-4 victory to get the point.

TCU's final three points came early in the singles matches as they got wins at the one, three, and four spots.

In matches that did not come to a conclusion, Majed Kilani rallied to win the second set 6-3 after dropping his first set 6-0 to Alex Rybakov to send it to a third that did not begin. Jarod Hing took his first set from Trey Daniel at the sixth spot 6-2 before play was ended with the second set knotted at 4-4.

The Hurricane will continue their play against ranked opponents as they take on No. 15 Kentucky on Friday in Stillwater, Okla. at the ITA Kick-Off.
