Tulsa is Back on the Road for Two Conference Matchups

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa will be on the road for two American matchups against the Tulane Green Wave, on Friday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. and at the Houston Cougars on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m.

The Green Wave leads the overall series, 15-14. Tulane defeated Tulsa, 3-1 (25-18, 27-25, 18-25, 25-17), earlier this season. The Green Wave defeated UConn on Friday, 3-2 (25-18, 22-25, 25-19, 18-25, 15-8), before they lost to Temple on Sunday, 3-0 (25-21, 25-12, 27-25). Dayna Kern leads Tulane with 216 kills. Justine Bowers leads the team with 646 assists. Kaylie McHugh leads the team with 446 digs, third in The American.

The Golden Hurricane leads the overall series against Houston, 17-7. Tulsa won the meeting earlier this season, 3-1 (25-20, 18-25, 25-19, 25-13). The Cougars were knocked off by Temple on Friday, 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-20), before they defeated UConn on Sunday, 3-2 (15-21, 25-21, 25-19, 21-25, 15-11). Brianna Lynch leads Houston with 203 kills. Katie Karbo has recorded 409 digs, sixth in the conference. Abby Irvine leads the Cougars with 498 assists.
