Tulsa Rowers Open Spring Season at Cardinal Invitational This Weekend

The Tulsa rowing team will open the 2017 season at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn., this weekend.  TU will compete in the Varsity 8+, 2nd Varsity 8+ and 3rd Varsity 8+, as well as the Varsity 4+ and 2nd Varsity 4+.
 
The Golden Hurricane team will face crews from Clemson, Kansas, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

"The Cardinal Invitational has become a very high quality, early season regatta," Head Coach Kevin Harris said.  "We were pleased to be included for 2017 and are looking forward to mixing it up with some great teams. We'll get to see competition from the ACC, Big 10, and Big 12 Conferences to open our season. We are looking forward to shaking off the cobwebs and seeing how we do in this environment."
