TULSA, Okla. – The No. 32-ranked University of Tulsa Women's Tennis team fell to No. 18-ranked Arkansas 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The Hurricane (16-5 Overall) picked up two wins, one at each the doubles and singles as their six-match winning streak came to an end.

Rongrong Leenabanchong and Martha Matoula won their 20th match this season in doubles play with a 6-4 win over Ana Oparenovic and Mia Jurasic at the No. 2 doubles position.

Arkansas secured the doubles point with a win at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles positions to go ahead of Tulsa 1-0.

Ksenia Laskutova picked up a late win in her matchup against No. 48-ranked Shannon Hudson, dropping the first set 6-4 before taking the second 6-3 to send it to a match-deciding third-set tie break, taking it 7-3. The junior picked up her 15th win on the year and second over a ranked opponent.

Leenabanchong faced off against a ranked opponent at the No. 2 singles position as Arkansas' #115 Ana Oparenovic picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win while Mahitha Dadireddy fell to #121 Leolia Jeanjean 6-2, 7-6.

Tulsa will remain on their home courts at the Michael D. Tennis Center as they are scheduled to take on Wichita State on April 5 at 5 p.m.
