
Tulsa Golfers Begin Play at Ron Moore Intercollegiate Friday

DENVER, Colo. – The Tulsa women's golf team will be in action for the third time in less than a month when the Golden Hurricane tee-off this Friday with first round action at the par-72, 6,513-yard Ron Moore Intercollegiate.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament is played Friday-Sunday, Oct. 5-6, at the Highlands Ranch Golf Course.
Tulsa won the Hobble Creek Fall Classic to start the season and placed 11th last week at the Lady Paladin Invitational.
The Hurricane goes into the Ron Moore Intercollegiate with the 5-player team of seniors Olivia Jackson and Johanna Samuelsson, sophomore Taylor Dobson and the freshman duo of ShaeLee Scarberry and Lorena Tseng.
Jackson and Tseng have paced the Hurricane in the first two tournaments, as the duo finished in 3rd and 4th place, respectively, at the season-opening Hobble Creek Classic. Tseng then finished 2nd at the Lady Paladin Invitational and with her two top-4 performances earned the American Athletic Conference's Player of the Month accolade for September.
The 16-team field also includes Cal Poly, Central Arkansas, Colorado State, UC Davis, host Denver, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Ole Miss, UTSA, Washington State, Wyoming.
