Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Hosts UCF This Saturday

The Tulsa men's soccer team will host UCF on Saturday, October 6, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

The TU-UCF game is Youth Soccer Night. After the game, kids (middle school and under) can kick penalty kicks on the field, and there will be an autograph session for all fans.

Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.

Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.

The Golden Hurricane has a 3-6-1 mark this season and is looking for their first win in American Athletic Conference play. Gilles Kuhler has a team-best three goals, while Juan Sanchez and Joe Ruiz both have two scores, and Chase Bromstedt, Adam Habib and Harris Partain each have one goal. Cooper Clark has played 826:01 in goal for a 1.53 GAA, a 0.702 saves percentage, 33 saves and one shutout, while Bryson Reed has played 146:15 in goal for a 1.23 GAA, a 0.833 saves percentage and 10 saves.

UCF has a 7-2-1 mark on the season, including a 1-1 mark in league play. Cal Jennings has a team-best 12 goals and 28 points on the year, while Yoni Sorokin has a team-leading five assists, and Jennings and Louis Perez both have three assists. Yannik Oettl has played every minute in goal for a 0.97 GAA, a 0.730 saves percentage, 27 saves and two clean sheets.

Tulsa has a 10-2-3 lead in the all-time series with the Knights, but UCF picked up a 3-0 win last year in Orlando.
