Golden Hurricane Dropped 4-0 Decision to No. 29 Baylor

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Tulsa (10-12) closed out the BNP Paribas Open Collegiate Challenge presented by Oracle, with a loss against No. 29 Baylor (14-4), 4-0. The Hurricane finished the trip to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden with a 1-2 record.
The No. 2 ranked doubles pair of Johannes Schretter and Will Little defeated Lucca Baptista and Majed Kilani, 6-1, in the No. 1 doubles match. Sven Lah and Roy Smith bested Joshua Goodger and Boriss Kamdem in the No. 3 match, 6-1. The Bears took a 1-0 lead into the singles matches.
Constantin Frantzen bested Louis Corker, 6-0 and 6-0, in the No. 5 singles match. The No. 42 ranked Schretter knocked off Baptista in the No. 3 singles match, 6-2 and 6-0. At the No. 4 position, Lah swept Mitchell Pritchard, 6-4 and 6-0. Akos Kotorman clinched the match for Baylor, as he defeated Kamdem in the No. 6 matchup, 6-1 and 6-4.
At the conclusion of the trip to the BNP Paribas Open Collegiate Challenge, Tulsa has a 10-12 record. The Hurricane will be back on the courts on Friday, March 23, as it travels to Waco, Texas, for another match against No. 29 Baylor. The Golden Hurricane will then travel to No. 10 Texas to close out next weekend.
