Tulsa Track & Field Heads to Arkansas for John McDonnell Invitational

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa track & field team returns to Fayetteville, Arkansas, this week for the John McDonnell Invitational hosted by Arkansas. The meet will begin April 12, at 3 p.m.

The Golden Hurricane will be sending 16 men and 16 women to compete at the John McDonnell Invitational.

The meet has been pushed up to Thursday, April 12, due to the forecast of inclement weather. Thursday will feature the events in the heptathlon, for the women, and decathlon, for the men. The heptathlon and decathlon will conclude on Friday.

Friday's events start with the men's decathlon's 110-meter hurdles at 11 a.m. The men's discus will be the first regular event scheduled for 12:15 p.m. The first track event will be the 4x100-meter relay at 1 p.m.

Saturday will be kick started with the men's hammer throw at 11 a.m. The first track event will be the 400-meter hurdles at 1 p.m.
