University of Tulsa senior rower Stephanie Call was selected to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I Women's At-Large First Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Â
Call, who graduated from Tulsa with a 4.0 GPA in chemical engineering this May, picked up Google Cloud Academic All-District VII First Team honors earlier this month to be eligible for the All-America accolade.
Â
A four-year letterwinner, Call participated in 17 regattas throughout her career. This season she competed in five regattas, including a fifth-place 'B' Final finish in the 2nd Varsity 4+ at the Clemson Invitational, and wins over North Carolina, SMU and Stetson at the Louisville Cardinal Invitational in the same boat.
Â
Call was named as a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar Athlete as a junior, and picked up American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team accolades all four years.
Â
Call is the third Tulsa rower to earn Academic All-America honors, joining Vanessa Andrews (2007, Third Team; 2008, First Team) and Susan Stangl (2010, Third Team).
