Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team Hosts Oklahoma Baptist and Illinois State this Week

The Tulsa women's soccer team will host both Oklahoma Baptist and Illinois State this week at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane will face OBU on Thursday, August 23 at 7:30 pm, and then take on ISU on Sunday, August 26 at 1:00 pm.

Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.

Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.

Tulsa is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to Missouri State last week in the only previous contest this season. Emily Brandenburg and Anna Williams each netted a goal for TU, while Alyssa Kaiser had a team-best nine shots, and Mica MacKay logged all 97:59 in goal and picked up five saves.

The Bison had a 15-2-3 overall record last season, but this will be their first game of the 2018 season.

The Redbirds have a 1-0-1 mark on the season, but will take on Oklahoma before making the trip to Tulsa. ISU earned a 1-0 win over Eastern Michigan and tied CSUN, 2-2.

This will be the first meeting between Tulsa and both Oklahoma Baptist and Illinois State on the women's soccer pitch.
