TU Alum Clinches Spot in Main Draw at Norman Open Series Women's 15K

NORMAN, Okla. - Tulsa women's tennis alum Martha Matoula advanced to the Norman Open Series Women's 15K main draw on Tuesday, following a 6-2, 6-3 victory in her second round qualifying match against Tai Martin of the United States. The series is being played at the Oklahoma University Tennis Club.
In her first round contest on Monday, Matoula defeated USA's Maribella Zamarripa 6-2, 6-2.
She is set to compete in the singles main draw on Wednesday, Oct. 2 against Canada's Ariana Arseneault.
