Tulsa Duo Falls in Consolation Semifinals

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa women's doubles team of Martina Okalova and Vera Ploner fell to Jaeda Daniel and Adrina Reami of NC State 8-7(5) in the semifinals of the Saint Francis ITA Women's All-American Championships consolation doubles on Saturday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Tulsa duo would lead by as much as three games at 6-3, before the Wolfpack rallied for a tie at 6-6. The two teams exchanged games before advancing to the tiebreak.

The Golden Hurricane return to action on Thursday, Oct. 17, as they head to Norman for the ITA Central Regional Championships, hosted by Oklahoma.

The singles and doubles championships are set for Sunday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The men's and women's main draw singles championship matches will be aired live on ESPNU. The women are scheduled to compete at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.
