TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa women's tennis heads to Houston, Texas, for the American Conference Women's Tennis Championship April 16-19, hosted by Rice.
In the first round, the No. 4 seed Golden Hurricane faces the 13-seeded East Carolina at 10 a.m. at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.

The No. 3 match featuring Coral Valle and Erin McKenzie went unfinished with the point already decided.
- In singles play, Tulsa found a bright spot at the No. 3 position as Carolina Alonso earned a ranked win, defeating No. 92 Theodora Chantava to put Tulsa on the board. However, Wichita State responded with straight-set victories over Santos at No. 1, Alice Baba at No. 4, and Erin McKenzie at No. 6 to clinch the match.
