Â
My favorite part of football ...

I like the physical aspect of the game. I've always had a real good passion for the game ever since I was little, playing flag football at the age of 8. I just love the crowd and the atmosphere of all of it.
Â
The hardest thing coming in as a Junior College transfer…
It was the different environment and having to adapt to everything. It was all knew to me. D1 is a big difference from junior college. It's a very good experience, but it's business as well.
Â
I can't believe it's my senior year …
Honestly, I feel like I'm just getting started. My four years of college has really gone by fast. I'm just very grateful and blessed to be able to play D1 my last 2 years.
Â
My major …
My major is in organizational studies. I will graduate in the fall of 2020.
Â
In high school…
I played football for all four years, basketball my freshman year, and ran track my junior year.
Â
Why I ran track …
My coaches kept telling me that if I wanted to play college football then I'd have to run track, so I gave it a try. I was on all the relays and the 200m.
Â
When I thought I could continue my football career after high school …
I started my junior season late because I came off of an ankle injury. In my first game back I had an interception and everybody kept telling me that if I keep doing well then good things will come.
Â
Favorite NFL team…
The Dallas Cowboys is my favorite NFL team. I was always a Cowboy fan growing up.
Â
Favorite NFL player …
My favorite NFL player is New York Jets safety Jamal Adams. He just knows how to play. He's one of the best safeties today in the NFL. He's very physical and has a lot of range.
Â
The hashtag that best describes me …
#furious
Â
Role model …
My role model is my dad, Charles Johnson, because he's a hardworking man.
Â
What I like about TU …
I like the culture at TU. Everybody is like a family. It's not too big so everybody knows everyone. You have to be good friends with people because you don't know what you might need help with later in the future.
Â
My hobbies …
I like watching Netflix. My favorite show is the All American. I like to bowl in my free time and I also like to swim.
Â
My tattoo …
I have a tattoo of the Dallas skyline on my abdomen. I started on the tattoo in high school and finished it my first year of junior college. I got it because I love the city so much. I knew that I was going to leave and do better things for my future, so it's a reminder of where I'm from.
Â
My twitter handle …
@officialbj_4. I picked the number 4 because I'm one of 4 siblings and the youngest. It was also my high school jersey number and my lucky number as well. Â
