THE GAME
• This is the 9th meeting between Tulsa and Kansas State.
• This game is the last contest of the decade for the Hurricane ... it is also the final non-conference game of the 2019-20 season for Tulsa.
• Kansas State is 6-5 on the season … K-State comes into Saturday's match-up after a second consecutive loss as the Wildcats fell 66-63 to St. Louis ... K-State has key wins over UNLV and North Dakota State.
THE SERIES
• Tulsa has a 7-1 series lead ... the Hurricane is 3-1 on the road against the Wildcats and 4-0 at home.
• The last meeting between the two teams came last season as the Hurricane defeated the #16-ranked Wildcats, 47-46, at the Reynolds Center on Dec. 8, 2018.
• The first game between the two teams came in the 1965-66 season as Tulsa beat Kansas State on the road with a final of 70-63.
• Tulsa's last win at Kansas State was in Dec. 1968, 66-63 ... this is the second time back to Manhattan since then.
• Tulsa has won three games in a row against the Wildcats: 1990 (72-61), 2017 (61-54) and 2018 (47-46).

• In the non-conference home game for the Hurricane on Dec. 29, 2018, Tulsa won 47-46.
• Tulsa was led by Curran Scott who recorded his season-high in scoring with 14 points ... he went 6-10 (60%) from the field ... junior Martins Igbanu added 9 points and 6 rebounds
• Tulsa picked up their first win against a ranked opponent since Feb. 2016 after defeating the #16-ranked Wildcats
• Igbanu scored a basket with 1:53 left in the contest ... the Hurricane forced the Wildcats into 2 turnovers to end the game ... the Wildcats did not score in the final 2:24 of the game
• K-State was led by Xavier Sneed who put in a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
• Kansas State was picked to finish 9th in The Big 12 Conference.
• The Wildcats finished last season going 25-9 overall, 14-4 in Big 12 play, but lost in the first round of the NCAA Championship to UC Irvine, 70-64.
• K-State has two players who average over 10 points a game with Xavier Sneed (14.1) and Carter Diarra (11.6).
• Sneed was selected to the Big 12 preseason honorable mention team … he was named to the 2018 NCAA South Regional all-tournament team.
