Tulsa Travels to No. 45 USF to Open Conference Play on Wednesday

TAMPA, Fla. – The Tulsa men's tennis team (11-8) will head to Florida for the team's first American Athletic Conference matchup with No. 45 USF (11-5) on Wednesday at 12 p.m. CT at the Varsity Tennis Complex.
The Bulls enter Wednesday's clash with a 11-5 overall mark, most recently taking down Georgia State at home, 4-3. USF is riding a four-match win streak, and boasts an 8-1 record at home.
In last season's meeting between the teams, the Golden Hurricane claimed a 5-2 win over the Bulls in Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Heading into the week, head coach Vince Westbrook's bunch boasts a 11-8 overall mark. Tulsa already owns two top-25 victories this season, defeating No. 14 TCU on Jan. 18 and most recently, No. 23 Oklahoma State on March 13.
Tulsa is led in singles by freshman Kody Pearson, who boasts a 14-4 mark in solo play in the dual season. Pearson has already been named the conference Player of the Week once this season and owns a three-match win streak in singles.
