
Tulsa Men’s Tennis to Host SMU for Senior Day

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's tennis team (13-11) welcomes the SMU Mustangs (11-15) to the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Friday evening for Senior Day, with first serve scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.
Tulsa will honor lone senior Majed Kilani prior to the match, who enters Friday with 69 career singles victories and 39 doubles victories in his career.
SMU heads into the weekend with an 11-15 overall mark and a 0-3 record against American Athletic Conference foes. Tulsa and the Mustangs met in the regular-season finale a season ago, where Tulsa escaped Dallas with a 5-2 win on the team's Senior Day.
For Tulsa, head coach Vince Westbrook's bunch holds a 13-11 mark in the dual season. Last week, Tulsa picked up a hard-fought 4-3 win over Memphis, but suffered a 4-3 setback to Temple on Sunday.
Tulsa is led by No. 72-ranked Kilani at the No. 1 position in singles. Freshman Kody Pearson boasts the best solo record on the team entering the weekend, holding strong with a 15-7 mark in singles.
