In the final standings, the Golden Hurricane men secured fifth overall with 79 team points, while the Tulsa women placed seventh with 53 points at the outdoor conference meet.

After earning a runner-up finish a season ago, Howard earned his first career conference gold, capturing Tulsa's first men's 800-meter title since 2015. Teammate Robert Tully finished closely behind at the line, claiming third in 1:51.13.

The Tulsa men's 4x100 quartet opened up the team scoring on the final day in Wichita. The relay of Bailey Stewart, Henry Visser, Emmanuel Okwuone and Joseph Nemec ran a season-best 41.38 for seventh overall and an all-conference nod.
