Tulsa Rowers Claim Wins Against UCO Monday

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The University of Tulsa's Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+ boats crossed the finish lines first in its races against the University of Central Oklahoma Monday afternoon at the US Rowing National High Performance Center.
 
The Tulsa Varsity 8+ finished in a time of 7:05.9 ahead of UCO's time of 7:12.11, while the Hurricane 2nd Varsity 8+ boat had a time of 7:14.27 in the same event.
 
In the Varsity 4+ race, the Tulsa 2nd Varsity boat captured the victory in a time of 8:09.07, followed by UCO 'A' at 8:11.75 and the Tulsa 1st Varsity 4+ boat coming across the finish line in a time of 8:30.71 for third place. The UCO 'B' boat clocked a time of 8:53.01.
 
Tulsa will be back at the US Rowing National High Performance Center on Sunday, May 19 for the American Athletic Conference Championship.
