Baseline to Baseline with Martina Okalova

During the 2018-19 season, TU will feature student-athletes from various sports. Today's feature is Baseline to Baseline with Tulsa women's tennis junior Martina Okalova.
Okalova, a native of Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, has remained a mainstay in the TU singles and doubles lineup since her arrival to Tulsa. This season for the Golden Hurricane, Okalova is 11-8 at the No. 1 position atop head coach Dean Orford's lineup. She and teammate Vera Ploner possess a lofty 15-4 mark at the top doubles spot, while the duo is currently ranked 14th in the NCAA.
Ploner and Okalova will continue their strong doubles season at the NCAA Doubles Championship on May 20-25 at the USTA National Campus, with times and opponents TBA.
