Women's Tennis to Host Hurricane Invite This Weekend

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa women's tennis is set to host Gonzaga, Arkansas State, and Oral Roberts this weekend for the Hurricane Invite.
The event runs Friday, Oct. 3, through Sunday, Oct. 5, with matches beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament will follow a mock dual format. While teams will compete against one another as in a traditional dual, scoring and results will be recorded individually for each athlete.
All 10 Golden Hurricane players will see action in both singles and doubles. The doubles pairings for Tulsa include freshman Carolina Alonso with junior Saniya Singh, freshman Uta Asakura with fellow freshman Coral Valle, freshman Alice Baba with senior Maria Santos, sophomore Isabella Basson with junior Tayla Wilmot, and junior Erin McKenzie with sophomore transfer Lilitha Ndungane.
In total, 34 players from the four teams will compete throughout the weekend.
