Hometown Heroes to Be Honored at Tulsa-Wyoming Game on Sept. 21

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa announced today that the Second Annual #ForOurCity – Hometown Heroes game is scheduled for Sept. 21, when the Golden Hurricane hosts the Wyoming Cowboys at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
 
The Hometown Heroes Game honors police, fire and EMT personnel from Tulsa and the surrounding communities.
 
"Once again, we're excited to recognize and honor our local police, fire and EMT personnel who do so much for our communities every day," said Tulsa's Director of Athletics Dr. Derrick Gragg.  "This is just a small way to show our appreciation for all their efforts. We hope that Tulsan's and residents from surrounding communities will attend the Wyoming game to help us give these Hometown Heroes well-deserved recognition."
 
The Sept. 21st #ForOurCity – Hometown Heroes Game will feature the following for the police, fire and EMT personnel of our local communities:
•      Complimentary Tickets to the game
•      Pre-Game tailgate and meal for all local heroes on Chapman Commons
•      Cains on Chapman Commons Pre-Game Concert Series
•      #ForOurCity T-shirts for local police, fire and EMT personnel, as well as the
first 5,000 fans
•      In-Game recognition of our Hometown Heroes

Any local police, fire or EMT personnel who would like to attend the game can get their tickets by CLICKING HERE. Each individual police, fire or EMT personnel is permitted to receive up to 4 complimentary tickets.
