Tulsa’s Aubrey Lechlider Named The American Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week

Tulsa's Aubrey Lechlider was named the American Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week, as announced today by the league office.

Lechlider, a freshman forward from Claremore, Okla., scored a goal in both games for the Golden Hurricane last week. Lechlider had three attempts on the weekend, all of which were on goal for her two goals.

After coming out of the locker room tied, 1-1, with Oklahoma at halftime, Lechlider gave Tulsa an early go-ahead goal in the 48^th minute, a lead TU maintained for the following 25 minutes. Lechlider also added the third and final goal in Tulas's 3-1 win over Little Rock.
