Tulsa Volleyball Travels to Kansas City for KC Roos Klassic

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa volleyball team heads back on the road this weekend, as the Golden Hurricane travel to Kansas City for the KC Roos Klassic. The two-day invitational starts on Friday, Sept. 6 at Kansas City's Swinney Recreation Center.

The Golden Hurricane will square off against South Dakota in their first match of the tournament at 10:30 a.m. Tulsa will then have a short break before their afternoon tilt vs. LA Tech at 4:30 p.m.

Tulsa wraps up competition at their second invitational of the season against the Roos on their home court. The final contest of the tournament is Saturday, Sept. 7 and is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.

TU has faced its upcoming tournament foes throughout the years. Friday morning's match vs. the Coyote's is the third meeting in program history, with the series tied at 1-1. The Golden Hurricane lead the all-time series against LA Tech (8-5) and Kansas City (12-7), respectively.

Live video will be available for Saturday's contest at Kansas City. However, live stats will be accessible for all tournament matches.
