• This is the 41st meeting between Tulsa and Cincinnati and the 9th as American Athletic Conference members.
• This game is the first road conference game of the 2019-20 season for Tulsa.
• Cincinnati is 8-6 on the season ... the Bearcats come into Wednesday's match-up after their first conference loss against Tulane on Jan. 4 ... Cincinnati has key wins over UConn, Tennessee and UNLV.
• This will be only game between the two American Athletic Conference teams this season.
THE SERIES
• Cincinnati has a 28-12 series lead ... the Hurricane is 8-10 at home against the Bearcats and 2-17 on the road.
• The Bearcats have won the last 6 meetings against the Hurricane including both of last season's meetings.
• Tulsa's last win in Cincinnati came on Jan. 5, 1967 as the Hurricane won 65-64 ... the teams have only played 8 times in Cincinnati since then.
• The last meeting between the two teams came on Jan. 24 as the Hurricane lost to the Bearcats , 88-64.
• The first game between the two teams came in the 1946-47 season as Tulsa lost to Cincinnati on the road with a final of 43-42.
• Tulsa's last win against the Bearcats was on Feb. 18, 2016, 70-68 in overtime ... the win was the only win the Hurricane has had against Cincinnati in only 4 meetings at the Reynolds Center

• The Hurricane took on the Bearcats in a conference road game on Jan. 24, 2019, in Cincinnati, as the Bearcats won by a score of 88-64.
• Tulsa was led by Sterling Taplin who led five Tulsa players with double-digit scoring with 12 points, DaQuan Jeffries put in 11 ... Martins Igbanu, Curran Scott and Darien Jackson all added 10 points.
• Taplin not only led the team in scoring but also had a game-high 7 assists.
• The Hurricane trailed 39-28 at halftime ... the Bearcats were led by Jared Cumberland, who led all scorers, with 23 points and Justin Jenifer tied his career-high 18 points with 6 three-pointers.
LAST WIN AGAINST THE BEARCATS
• The Hurricane took on the Bearcats at home on Feb. 18, 2016, as Tulsa won 70-68.
• Tulsa had 4 players in double-figures led by James Woodard with 19 points ... Pat Birt (13), Rashad Smith (12) and Shaquille Harrison (11) also scored in double-figures.
• The Hurricane used overtime to capture the victory with Birt sinking two free throws with 7 seconds left to seal the win.• In the second half and overtime period, the Hurricane outscored the Bearcats 26-12 in the paint ... Tulsa improved their field goal percentage from 32.3 percent in the first half to 48.4 percent in the final 25 minutes.
• Tulsa closed out the game making 11-11 free throws in the second half and in overtime ... the Hurricane shot 15-20 (75%) from the charity strike during the game.

• Cincinnati was picked to finish 3rd in The American Conference ... the Bearcats received 1 first place vote.
