Tulsa Says Farewell to Coach Davey

TULSA, Okla. –– TU Super Fan, David Bales, more notably known as "Coach Davey" died last Thursday, Dec. 3, at the age of 56.
The funeral service for "Coach Davey" will take place at 2:00 p.m. this Thursday, Dec. 10, at Holy Family Cathedral (820 South Boulder Ave.).
Bales was known for his avid and enthusiastic attendance at Tulsa Golden Hurricane basketball and football games and earned the nickname "Coach". He was a fixture at TU basketball games, storming the baseline and cheering on the Hurricane, and could be seen roaming the west stands during football season.
