The Tulsa men's soccer team will play a 10-game, home-and-home schedule with all five American Athletic Conference opponents in the 2020-21 season, as announced today by head coach Tom McIntosh.

"Obviously we are disappointed that we aren't playing non-conference games, but I think we are thankful that we get to play 10 games in one of the top conferences in America," McIntosh said.  "We are excited about what we do get to do, and I think our players are excited about the schedule and the opportunity to compete for two trophies."

Tulsa will travel to UCF to begin the season on Feb. 6 and will host the Knights on Feb. 27.  UCF captured The American regular season title, advanced to the NCAA Tournament third round before falling to conference foe SMU, and posted a 15-3-2 overall record and a 6-0-1 league mark a year ago.  TU owns a 10-4-3 lead in the series with the Knights.

Tulsa returns home to the friendly confines of the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium to host Memphis on Feb. 13 and will play in Memphis on March 20.  The Tigers posted a 10-7 mark last season, including a win over Tulsa, but TU maintains a 7-6-3 edge in the series.

A trip to Dallas to face SMU is up next on the slate for Feb. 20, before the Mustangs return the trip on March 27.  SMU recorded 18 wins last year, claimed The American tournament championship and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.  The Mustangs have a 31-11-4 advantage in the series over Tulsa.

TU will travel to USF on March 6 and the Bulls will make the trip to Tulsa to end the regular season on April 9.  USF finished third in the league last year, recorded 10 wins and played in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.  The Bulls have a 6-1-3 lead in the series with the Hurricane.

Tulsa will host Temple on March 13 before the teams meet in Philadelphia on April 2.  The Owls had eight victories last season, but the two teams tied a year ago (0-0 2OT) to even the all-time record, 2-2-2.

The American Athletic Conference tournament will feature the top four teams in the final regular season league standings.  The semifinals are set for April 15 and the championship will be played on April 17.
