TULSA, Okla. ― The Tulsa volleyball team dropped Sunday afternoon's home match to UCF in four sets, 25-15, 27-29, 25-19, 25-17. UCF improves to 11-5 overall, and a perfect 4-0 in American Athletic Conference play, while Tulsa drops to 7-6 overall, 2-2 in AAC play.

UCF got off to a fast start, taking the first set 25-15. Tulsa bounced back in the second, winning the second set 29-27 after being down 24-22 earlier.

The Knights would strike back, winning the third set 25-19 and fourth set 25-17 to improve to a conference leading fourth AAC win.

Kayley Cassaday tallied 14 kills on a .382 hitting percentage off the bench, while Aysu Dalogullari had seven kills, Maggie Hembree totaled six kills, and Callie Cook and Bailey Rowe each recorded five a piece.

Avery Kalsu assisted 33 Hurricane kills, while Marta Pecalli's 21 digs were tied for a match-high.

UCF's McKenna Melville, last year's AAC Player of the Year, tallied an impressive double-double of 19 kills and 19 digs, while Amber Olson posted 49 assists.

Tulsa will return to action on Friday, October 8^th when they take on SMU in Dallas, Texas at 7 pm.
