
Tulsa Volleyball to Take on SMU, Memphis on Weekend Road Trip

TULSA, Okla. ― After splitting its American Athletic Conference home opening weekend, the Tulsa volleyball team is back on the road, where they will take on SMU on Friday, October 8 at 7 pm and Memphis on Sunday, October 10 at 1 pm.
The match against SMU will be broadcast on ESPN+. TU fans can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball games. Tulsa is 7-6 overall on the season, and 2-2 in AAC play. The Hurricane knocked off South Florida last Friday in four sets before dropping Sunday's afternoon match to AAC favorite UCF in four.
SMU is 7-7 on the season, and 3-1 in conference play. The Mustangs won their first three conference matchups before just recently losing to Cincinnati in four sets.
Memphis sits at 8-8 on the year, and 1-3 in conference play. The Tigers are coming off back-to-back losses to Cincinnati and East Carolina.
This will be the 51st all-time meeting between Tulsa and SMU. The Mustangs lead the series 31-19. Tulsa and Memphis will clash for the 32nd time ever, with the Hurricane leading 19-12 all-time.
