Tulsa to Host Tulane, Houston in Important Weekend Homestand

TULSA, Okla. – Sitting at 12-9 overall, 7-5 in American Athletic Conference play, the Tulsa volleyball team will host Tulane on Friday, November 5th at 7 pm and Houston at noon on Sunday, November 7th at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
Tulsa is tied for 5th in the AAC standings, alongside SMU and Tulane. The Green Wave are 14-10 on the season, 7-5 in AAC play. Houston currently sits in second place of the conference, one game up of third and two back of first place UCF. The Cougars are 19-5 this season, 9-3 in AAC play.
Tulsa's match with Tulane will be broadcast on the Tulsa Hurricane Athletics YouTube page at no cost. Tulsa's match with Houston will be broadcast on ESPN+. Tulsa is coming off a four-set victory over South Florida. After dropping the opening set, the Hurricane bounced back to win the next three. Callie Cook recorded her 1,000th career kill in the win, while Aysu Dalogullari notched her sixth double-double of the season with 13 kills and 12 digs. Tulsa tied a season-high with nine service aces, three each from Cook and Hannah Overmyer.
Tulsa and Tulane will matchup for the 37th time historically, and the second time this season. The Green Wave swept the Hurricane back on September 26th and hold a 19-17 series lead.
Tulsa downed Houston in a five-set thriller back on September 24th to open conference play up. The Hurricane lead the all-time series 22-12.
