Tulsa Women’s Tennis Records Perfect Second Day at Hurricane Invite

TULSA, Okla. ― Following a nine-win opening day of the Hurricane Invite yesterday, the Tulsa women's tennis team recorded a perfect 10-0 record today at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa, who went 7-0 during yesterday's singles matches, went 7-0 over Central Arkansas today. Valeryia Rozenkova, Shura Poppe were in flight A, Lian Benedejcic, Maria Berlanga Bandera played in flight B, Lily Hutchings played in flight C, while Leonor Peralta Dias de Oliveira and Ana Naranjo Martinez played in flight D.
All three Tulsa duos tallied wins over Wichita State today. Rozenkova/Berlanga and Hutchings/Naranjo played in the first flight, while Poppe/Benedejcic played in the second flight.
Tulsa will wrap up the Hurricane Invite tomorrow at 9 am. Play is scheduled to be outside but could be moved inside weather permitting.
