Tulsa Men’s Tennis Falls to UTSA

TULSA, Okla. –– The 40th- ranked Tulsa men's tennis team fell on Friday night 4-1 to the UTSA Roadrunners at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa fell to 7-6 on the season and the Roadrunners improved to 7-4.
UTSA took an early 1-0 lead by winning the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. The Roadrunners followed with 3 of 4 wins in singles, claiming wins at positions 1, 2 and 6.
Tulsa's Stefan Hampe tied the match a 1-1, but that would be the only singles win for the Hurricane. He claimed the victory with 7-5, 6-1 scores at the No. 4 spot.
Tulsa returns to the Michael D. Case Tennis Center for a Sunday matchup against Wichita State and on Monday against LSU. Both matches have a start time of 1 p.m.
