Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team Hosts USF on Friday

The Tulsa women's soccer team will host USF on Friday, September 24 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.

Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on ESPN+. TU fans can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball games. ESPN+ is offered at $6.99/month or $69.99/year. To subscribe, go to plus.espn.com. Fans will be able to access ESPN+ content only after they have subscribed.

The Golden Hurricane has a 5-4-1 overall record, but dropped a 1-0 decision to Cincinnati in their only American Athletic Conference game. Isold Runarsdottir has a team-best six goals, while Liliana Fernandez and Megan Nielsen each have added two scores, and six others have one goal. Emma Malsy has logged 571 minutes between the posts, picked up 25 saves for a 0.694 saves percentage and allowed 11 goals for a 1.73 goals-against average, while Raegan Beeding has played 360 minutes between the posts, recorded 19 saves for a 0.826 saves percentage and allowed four goals for a 1.00 GAA.

South Florida has a 6-2-1 overall record, including a 3-2 win in overtime over East Carolina. The Bulls are led by Sydny Nasello with seven goals, while four others have at least one goal. Sydney Martinez has played the majority of minutes in goal, picked up 27 saves for a 0.750 saves percentage and allowed nine goals for a 0.98 GAA.

South Florida has a 6-1 lead in the all-time series over Tulsa.
